Condition grading

At La Roue Collective, we believe transparency is essential when choosing a pre-owned piece. Every item is carefully inspected and assessed before becoming part of our collection. As each piece has had a previous life, signs of wear may be present — and we believe they should always be communicated with clarity and care.

Each product listing includes detailed photographs, a written description, and a condition grade to give you a complete understanding of the piece. We encourage you to review all three elements when considering a purchase.

Our condition scale ranges from 1 to 3:

1. Pristine Condition – The item is new and unworn or in new condition, with all original accessories included. In some cases, it may still have original tags or protective stickers attached.

1.5. Excellent Condition – The item shows only minimal signs of wear. It has been very gently used and remains in beautiful condition, with only the slightest indications of a previous life.

2. Very Good Condition – The item has been carefully worn and may show light signs of use, such as minor corner wear, faint surface marks, or subtle softening of structure.

2.5. Good Condition – The item shows visible signs of wear consistent with regular use, such as surface marks or light discoloration, while remaining well maintained and fully functional.

3. Vintage / Fair Condition – The item carries more noticeable signs of age and character. These details reflect its history and may include visible imperfections. Any significant flaws will always be clearly described and photographed.
